Google Calendar has introduced a new feature that offers professionals or freelancers to enable their clients to book paid meetings through Google Calendar.
People that provide services that are time-based, such as therapists or teachers, could find this to be helpful.
Because the organization has formed a partnership with Stripe to provide the facility, users will be required to link their Stripe accounts to their Google Calendars before they can begin receiving money. Users or administrators of a workspace account will be able to create their own cancellation and refund policies, but Google will not be involved in the process in any way.
Google also clarified that there will be no platform fees charged for using its services. In addition, the company does not keep any payment information nor does it process any payments; at the present time, Stripe is responsible for all of that work.
Requiring payment in advance can assist proprietors of small businesses in reducing the number of customers who do not show up for their services and expanding their operations.” According to a post on Google’s official site, “In addition, this feature enables you to manage both your time and payments in an effortless and straightforward manner.”
The company has stated that the new feature will be made available to customers who have subscribed to the Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Fundamentals, Education Standard, Education Plus, the Teaching and Learning Upgrade edition, Nonprofits, and Workspace Individual plans over the course of the next few days.

Notably, the timetable management tool Calendly includes interfaces with both Stripe and PayPal, which enables users to utilize the paid meeting feature.
Google Calendar offers paid meetings, in addition, Google introduced a new option for hybrid employees this week that allows them to specify their working locations — such as Office or Home — during the day to assist others in selecting an appropriate time window for a meeting.
